Papercut

tree-of-codes-inside

The best thing about secondhand shopping is the potential for discovering treasures. On that note, our latest special addition (or is that edition?) to our rare books section is this one-of-a-kind die-cut copy of Tree of Codes – a collaboration between the author Jonathan Safran Foer, London publisher Visual Editions and printer/publisher die Keure in Belgium. It’s not only visually intriguing, but Jonathan Safran Foer’s story The Tree of Codes was made by carefully cutting and reimagining an existing piece of text, The Street of Crocodiles by Bruno Schulz, his favourite book.

Amazing! A true masterpiece and a unique piece of art.
