All the albums listed below we currently have in stock for $17.95 or less! We’ve included Spotify links so you can check out a track from each release.

Our personal favourites from the albums below are the Kishi Bashi, Slowdive, Okkervil River and Black Marble.

Antony and the Johnsons – I am a Bird Now – $14.95

I Am a Bird Now is the second album by New York City band Antony and the Johnsons. It won the Mercury Prize on September 6, 2005.

Black Marble – It’s Immaterial – $16.95

Their second full-length on Ghostly International, and from a new locale, the West Coast. Still featuring Chris Stewart at the helm along with select collaborators as supplementation, the bi-coastal shift lends a great deal to the overall feel of the new album.

The Besnard Lakes – A Coliseum Complex Museum – $17.95

A Coliseum Complex Museum is the fifth studio album by the Canadian psychedelic rock band The Besnard Lakes, released on January 22, 2016 on Jagjaguwar.

Bon Iver – For Emma, Forever Ago – $15.95

For Emma, Forever Ago is the debut studio album by American indie folk band Bon Iver. It was first self-released in July 2007, and later saw wide release on the Jagjaguwar label in February 2008.

Vanessa Carlton – Liberman – $16.95

Liberman is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton, released on October 23, 2015, through Dine Alone Records.

Cherry Glazerr – Apocalipstick – $16.95

Apocalipstick is the third studio album by indie rock band Cherry Glazerr. The band worked on the album with producers Joe Chiccarelli and Carlos de la Garza, making their garage sound more polished.

Dayglo Abortions – Two Dogs Fucking – $17.95

Two Dogs Fucking is a 1991 album by the Dayglo Abortions. Track 15, “Isn’t This Disgusting”, was covered by the metal band GWAR in memory of Cory Smoot.

Dead Kennedys – Bedtime For Democracy – $14.95

Bedtime for Democracy is the fourth and final studio album released by Dead Kennedys. Songs on this album cover such common punk subjects as conformity, Reaganomics, the military, and even criticizing aspects of their own punk movement.

Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not is the eleventh studio album by alternative rock band Dinosaur Jr.. It was released on August 5, 2016.

Explosions In The Sky ‎– Those Who Tell The Truth… – $12.95

Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever is the second album recorded by post-rock band Explosions in the Sky, released on September 4, 2001. It is their first album released on the Temporary Residence label.

Geidi Primes is the debut studio album by Canadian recording artist Grimes, released on January 10, 2010, by Arbutus Records.

The Place Where We Lived is the sixth album by Canadian singer-songwriter Hayden, released May 26, 2009 on Hardwood Records and Universal Music Canada.

Kishi Bashi – Sonderlust – $16.95

Working under the name Kishi Bashi, he’s about to release his third album, Sonderlust — “sonder” meaning, essentially, the awareness that everyone around you has a complex life of his or her own. Throughout the album, Ishibashi broadens his palette, rendering his sound ever more frantic, unpredictable, digital and danceable.

Jens Lekman – Life Will See You Now – $16.95

Life Will See You Now is the fourth studio album by Swedish indie pop musician Jens Lekman. The album was released on 17 February 2017 through Secretly Canadian.

The Lumineers – The Lumineers – $16.95

The Lumineers is the self-titled debut studio album by American rock band The Lumineers. The album was released on April 3, 2012, and contains the singles “Ho Hey”, “Stubborn Love” and “Submarines”.

Lust For Youth – International – $16.95

Lust For Youth’s International is to many people unrecognizable as a Lust For Youth record on first listen. Hannes Norrvide’s previous solo albums under the Lust for Youth moniker have been described as “dark, cold, atonal, tormented, lonely, and lower than lo-fi.” The approach on International has shifted dramatically. Writing as a three-piece now, with longtime live collaborator Loke Rahbek and new band member Malthe Fisher, who produces and plays guitar, LFY have entered a completely new territory. The result is stunning.

Okkervil River – Down the River of Golden Dreams – $14.95

Down the River of Golden Dreams is Okkervil River’s second full-length album, released on September 2, 2003. William Schaff continued to create artwork for Okkervil River with this release.

Other Lives – Rituals – $17.95

Other Lives is an American indie rock band from Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. The band originally formed in 2004 as Kunek and released one album in 2006 under that name. After opening for Radiohead and subsequently headlining their own tour in 2012, the band took a hiatus from performing to work on “Rituals.”

Public Memory – Wuthering Drum – $17.95

Public Memory is the solo project of Brooklyn’s Robert Toher, recorded over the course of a year as he lived in Los Angeles temporarily. Previously of the group ERAAS, Robert places a greater emphasis on electronics in this new project. Rhythm is at the forefront, with the tone informed by stripped down, narcotic impressions of krautrock, hypnotic percussion, and subtly layered atmospherics.

Slowdive – Slowdive – $16.95

Deftly swerving what co-vocalist/guitarist Rachel Goswell terms “a trip down memory lane”, these eight new tracks are simultaneously expansive and the sonic pathfinders’ most direct material to date. Birthed at the band’s talismanic Oxfordshire haunt The Courtyard – “It felt like home,” enthuses guitarist Christian Savill – their diamantine melodies were mixed to a suitably hypnotic sheen at Los Angeles’ famed Sunset Sound facility by Chris Coady (perhaps best known for his work with Beach House, one of countless contemporary acts to have followed in Slowdive’s wake).

Sufjan Stevens – Carrie and Lowell – $15.95

Carrie & Lowell is the seventh studio album by American musician Sufjan Stevens, released through Asthmatic Kitty on March 31, 2015. Unlike Stevens’s previous studio album, the electronic The Age of Adz, Carrie & Lowell is sparsely instrumental and marks a return to the performer’s indie folk roots.
