It’s Friday! How about some great new vinyl releases to kick off the weekend? The latest Daniel Romano and Modest Mouse have arrived. Plus, we’ve got some top re-issues that are available now too.
Metallica have remastered their self titled album, there’s another Spiritualized “Spaceman Reissue” out and it’s the great “Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space” plus, Grizzly Bear have re-issued “Yellow House” for its 15th anniversary. I’ll take one of each please!
There’s been some amazing releases the past couple of months and this week is no different.

Cobra Poems is a set of 10 new originals by Daniel Romano and the group of exceedingly well-dressed talents known as the Outfit.

Modest Mouse – The Golden Casket
Produced with Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee in Los Angeles and in Modest Mouse’s studio in Portland, the album hovers in the liminal space between raw punk power and experimental studio science.

Metallica – Metallica (Remastered)
It’s finally here – Metallica’s eponymous album, better known as The Black Album – is remastered and available now!

Spiritualized – Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space
The Spaceman Reissue Program edition of Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space promises to give those recordings the fullest spectrum audio and physical treatment they’ve deserved since the original release.

Grizzly Bear – Yellow House (Indie Exclusive)
Grizzly Bear celebrate the 15th anniversary of their iconic second album (and first recorded as a full band) Yellow House.
