The AT-LP70X series is Audio-Technica’s latest addition to their turntable lineup, and it’s designed with both beginners and seasoned audiophiles in mind. Here’s what you need to know:

Features:

– VM95 Series Stylus: The AT-LP70X comes equipped with the VM95 Series stylus, which elevates your listening experience. Plus, it’s replaceable, allowing you to experiment with different stylus shapes for even better sound quality.

– Easy Setup: No need to fuss over balancing the tonearm or installing the cartridge—the AT-LP70X keeps things simple.

– Accessories: It includes a detachable RCA output cable, a 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover.

Differences from the AT-LP60X:

– Stylus Upgrade: The VM95 Series stylus is the star here. As you move from conical to elliptical to Microlinear and even Shibata stylus shapes, your listening experience can significantly improve.

– Turntable Dimensions: The AT-LP70X has a more serious 3-piece chassis, dampening resonance for better sound quality. Its rectangular format differs from the square format of the AT-LP60X.

– Tonearm: The LP70X boasts a longer, J-shaped tonearm engineered to minimize tracking errors, while the LP60X has a shorter, straight tonearm.

– Output Connection: The LP70X uses true dual RCA to RCA output cables, a step up from the basic 3.5mm to dual RCA cable of the LP60X. It also includes a ground lug to minimize 60Hz hum.
