Lou Reed has passed away

Sad news today. Lou Reed has died he was 71. His music whether it was with the Velvet Underground or his solo work has alway had a special place in my life. Hearing Velvet Underground as an impressionable youth really guided my music tastes in a big way and still does this many years on. He will certainly be missed.

This Lou Reed song brings me back to a very special time in my life. I still listen to it frequently and the news today will make it resonate a little more.
