It’s Friday! We’ve got a bunch of recent new releases to feature today, including the new Green Day album “Saviors”. The other new releases are all part of Rhino Record’s “Start Your Ear Off Right 2024”. Each year Rhino releases limited edition re-issues of key or interesting albums. You can find those here:

Single LP reissue of The English Beat’s debut album, including the hits “Mirror in the Bathroom” and “Tears of a Clown”. Pressed on magenta vinyl.

Grateful Dead – In the Dark (Indie Exclusive)
The Dead’s Biggest Album Ever! Limited Edition, Silver Vinyl Newly Mastered by GRAMMY Award-winning engineer David Glasser. The penultimate studio album from the Grateful Dead, released in 1987, it was their first Top 10 album, with their first Top 10 hit song, Touch Of Grey.

The first Arista Grateful Dead album, and the first studio album featuring an outside producer their debut album a decade earlier, Terrapin Station is one of the deepest, densest, most ambitious album in the entire Dead catalog. Pressed on green vinyl.

The Velvet Underground – Live at Max’s Kansas City (Indie Exclusive)
2xLP Expanded Edition of the legendary final concerts with Lou Reed recorded in 1970. Limited Edition Purple and Magenta Vinyl. Includes “I’m Waiting for the Man”, “Sweet Jane”, “Pale Blue Eyes”, “Femme Fatale” and more.

The Doors – Alive She Cried: 40th Anniversary (Indie Exclusive)
Alive She Cried is The Doors electrifying second live album from 1983, available for the first time on vinyl since it’s original release. The 40th anniversary reissue is on emerald vinyl and features “Light My Fire (Inc. Graveyard Poem)”, “Moonlight Drive (including Horse Latitudes), and Love Me Two Times among other Doors hits.

Yes – Yes (Indie Exclusive)
Yes self titled album is the band’s acclaimed 1969 debut. Includes “”Sweetness”” and a cover of The Beatles’ song “”Every Little Thing”” Pressed on Cobalt vinyl.
