More things found in books

You never know what you may find inside a brown paper package. In this case, it was a copy of The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge with a scalloped-edge suede cover and cut-out tulip detail. Tucked inside the book were a poem and a certificate from the Bank of Hearty Good Wishes granting the recipient one thousand new years wishes made out 100 years ago in 1916. Think they’re still valid?
