A Nice Pair: Elvis Presley

You’d be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t heard of Elvis (no last name necessary) but there’s one person who knew him intimately: his former live-in girlfriend and muse, Linda Thompson. This week, we’re pairing Elvis’ album Moody Blue with Linda’s book A Little Thing Called Life.

This book details the soaring highs of a love story with the tragic lows of Elvis’ drug use and infidelity which ultimately led to their breakup eight months before his death.

After her relationship with Elvis, Linda went on to marry Olympian gold medallist Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner. Her book details both of these high profile relationships and gives a unique insight and perspective as only she could.
