Baroness Mitski

It’s Friday! We’ve got a few recent new releases to feature today plus the Perth Night Market is happening tomorrow. It’s going to be a great weekend!

With the Perth Night Market kicking off at 5pm tomorrow we wanted to let you know that in the morning when we open, the recent arrival used bin will be loaded with a fresh batch of some great albums. We will post a “Flippin’ Video” on Sunday, but if you don’t want to miss out get here first thing tomorrow!

On to the recent new releases.

Mitski – The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We (Indie Exclusive)
In this album, which is sonically Mitski’s most expansive, epic, and wise, the songs seem to be introducing wounds and then actively healing them. Here, love is time – travelling to bless our tender days, like the light from a distant star.

Baroness – STONE (Indie Exclusive)
STONE finds the Philadelphia-based quartet streamlining the momentous multi-genre vocabulary of its critically-acclaimed predecessor Gold & Grey (2019). This is still very much Baroness—just refocused for efficiency and rethought as a consequence of stability.

Olivia Rodrigo – Guts (Indie Exclusive)
GUTS was recorded with producer Daniel Nigro, who also collaborated with her on SOUR, her chart-topping, 4x platinum debut album.

Kool Keith – Black Elvis 2 (Indie Exclusive)
Plug in your ethernet and dial up to travel through Kool Keith’s multi-verse. Featuring Ice-T and Marc Live. Black Elvis 2 is here.

See you soon!
