We’re Going to be Friends

For obvious reasons, we can’t help but notice book covers first, but what about the often ignored endpapers? In too many cases, they’re just plain, boring white. That’s why when I opened the book We’re Going to be Friends by Jack White, these standout endpapers in the White Stripes’ signature colours by illustrator Elinor Blake made me smile.

The book itself contains the lyrics of one of the White Stripes’ most-loved songs by the same name while Elinor’s pictures bring them added dimension. It also includes a download code for four companion digital tracks that accompany the book.

It’s the perfect pick for a good friend, old or new.
